Tips

  1. Dive deep on pain, we won’t sell this tool in this economy as a “nice to have”. Find 2-3 needs, focus on those.
  2. Recap pain again and again. Relate everything you hear from discovery to the demo portion so they can link their problems to the solutions in the mind.
  3. There is no such thing as “over communicating”. Prospects are likely watching 5-6 other companies AEs and having multiple calls with them. We want something to resonate with them. Say things 10X that you want them to remember.
  4. You ARE the expert. You know these tools a lot better than them. It’s a part of their job, it’s our full jobs. Give them best practices to trust you as a guide through their process.
  5. Balance 1) showing excitement in our product and 2) no being desperate. We have enough opps and will find our ideal customers.

We’re excited to take you through what we’re up to, here at Causal. The purpose of today’s call is to get a better understanding of what you at COMPANY NAME’s financial processes and see if we can help out.

To set the stage a little, as you may know, we are one of the easiest tools to set up and provide extremely flexible & powerful modeling tools focused on DEPARTMENT NAME (Finance). As we are such a powerful & flexible tool, we have tons of customers like SOCIAL PROOF 1 & SOCIAL PROOF 2 using it for different reasons but but obviously for today’s call we want to focus on what will impact you all the most.

To set a quick agenda, what we can do is a quick round of intros, then spend around 15-20 minutes diving into your situation and needs are.

After that we can do a very quick walk through of the platform.

After that, if we both see it being a fit, the next step would be to do a deeper dive with our solutions consultant that has 10 years experience in the FP&A space, working at some of the other vendors like Vena and more to tailor the demo to your specific needs.
